August 5, Fineko/abc.az. The Action Plan on the power distribution network of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has been endorsed.
ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, President Ilham Aliyev signed a relevant decree. 

Under the decree, the Action Plan on the reconstruction & restoration of the distribution power grid of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 2026-2030 has been approved.

Azerishig OJSC needs to ensure the measures in the Action Plan and inform the country’s president about progress of their implementation once a year. 
To the Cabinet Ministers:

Take the necessary measures to provide the financial resources required in the Draft State Budget in subsequent years in order to finance the activities envisaged in the Action Plan.

Resolve other issues arising from this decree.
"The modernization of the electric power system, including the distribution grid, and their improvement through the use of innovative technologies are of particular importance for the sustainable socio-economic development of our country.
The consistent reforms implemented in this area in our country in recent years have laid the foundation for a qualitative change in the philosophy of energy system management and development, and have served to provide consumers with more reliable, sustainable, safe and efficient electricity. 
The work carried out to ensure the sustainability of the economic development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, which is an integral part of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in turn, places improving the quality of the communal infrastructure, including the electricity distribution network, and ensuring public access to uninterrupted and safe energy among the main priorities," the decree says.
