July 31, Fineko/abc.az. The energy minister of Kazakhstan spoke about plans to increase the transit of Kazakh oil through oil pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, ABC.AZ reports with erference to the Kazakh media.

Kazakh minister Yerlan Akkenzhenov said that the increase is planned this year:

"If last year we transported around 1.4 million tons in this direction, then in 2025 we plan to transport approx. 1.7 million tons. Over the past 6 months, we have transported close to 800,000 tons via this route. Work is ongoing, and this is one of our main alternative routes."
