July 29, Fineko/abc.az. According to OpenAI, chatbot ChatGPT has gained an internationally recognized status, processing more than 2.5 billion requests per day - nearly 912.5 billion requests a year.

It is noteworthy that around a third of the requests come from users from the U.S. - close to 330 million per day.

Despite the fact that Google processes approx. 5 trillion requests annually, ChatGPT's audience is growing rapidly - from 300 million up to more than 500 million active users per week from December 2024 to March 2025.

Experts point out that ChatGPT is becoming a serious competitor to traditional search engines, thanks to its ability to quickly provide clear and logical answers.

OpenAI is also preparing the imminent launch of its own AI-based browser, which will increase competition with Google. In addition, the company presented ChatGPT Agent, a tool that allows you to automatically perform tasks on behalf of a user directly on their computer.

These innovations demonstrate that ChatGPT is turning from just a chatbot into a full‑fledged intelligent assistant.
