Transfer of Azer-Turk Bank’s shares to SOCAR completed

July 28, Fineko/abc.az. The transfer of 51% of the shares of Azer-Turkbank OJSC to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has been finished, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Azerbaijani Investment Holding Company, which manages the bank.

24% of bank's shares belong to the State Service for Property Issues (under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan), acting on behalf of the government, 12.4% to Turkish Zıraat Bank, 1.1% to Zıraat Bank International, 6.5% to AzRe Təkrarsığorta OJSC, 5% to Qala Həyat Sığorta OJSC.

Azer-Turk Bank was founded in 1995. The authorized capital of the bank is 79 million manats.
