July 23, Fineko/abc.az. Amazon has announced plans to acquire California-based startup Bee AI, specializing in wearable devices with artificial intelligence. Bee is releasing a smart bracelet worth $49.99, which, in functionality and appearance, resembles a Fitbit smartwatch. The main difference is the built-in artificial intelligence and microphones that allow the device to listen, analyze conversations and automatically create short notes, to-do lists and reminders for the user.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to CNBC, that Bee AI CEO Maria de Lourdes Zollo confirmed the deal and noted that the startup's team will join Amazon to jointly implement the idea of personal artificial intelligence.
