July 22, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan-Georgia trade turnover in the first 5 months of 2025 reached $330 million (20% more versus Jan-May 2024).

ABC.AZ informs that Azerbaijani FM Jeyhun Bayramov made the relevant statement at a joint press conference with his Georgian counterpart Maka Bochorishvili.

The minister noted that this positive trend will continue until the end of the year.

According to Bayramov, Azerbaijan is active in the Georgian economy both at the state and company levels, and is one of Georgia's main investors. The minister added that to date, Azerbaijan has invested $3.6 billion in Georgia

Bayramov noted that during the meeting, attention was also paid to the project of Black Sea underwater energy cable, a number of Central Asian countries, in particular Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, expressed their intention to join this project and work has already begun in this direction.
