More than 180 bcm of ACG and Shah Deniz gas exported

July 14, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2025, our country produced 25.2 bcm of natural gas (0.4% more against Jan-Jun 2024).

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Energy that 6.6 bcm of gas accounted for Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli, 13.8 bcm  for Shah Deniz, 800 mbillion cu m for Absheron field, and close to 4 bcm for SOCAR.

Gas sales abroad during this period decreased by 4.72% to 12.1 bcm. Of them, 6.1 bcm (a drop of 4.7%) were sold to Europe, 4.9 bcm (decline: 2%) to Turkey, and 1.1 bcm (decrease: 15.4%) to Georgia. During this time 2.9 bcm of gas were supplied to Turkey via TANAP (a rise of 3.57%).

Since the commissioning of fields Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and Shah Deniz until July 1 of this year, around 660.1 million tons of oil (together with condensate) and 487.1 bcm of gas have been produced, which is an increase of 3.2% and 9.2%, respectively. ACG produced 609.5 million tons of oil and 236.5 bcm of gas, and for Shah Deniz - about 50.6 million tons of condensate, 250.6 bcm of gas. From that moment until June 1, 2025, 658.1 million tons of oil and 180.2 bcm of gas were exported.
