July 8, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku branch of the National Bank of Iran completed the first half of the year with profit of 3.225 million manats.

The indicator is 6.2% less against the first half of 2024, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the financial statements of the branch.

Over Jan-Jun 2025, the revenues of the Bank of Iran amounted to 3.028 million manats (28.5% more than a year ago), expenses - 931,000 manats (11.9% more), and savings on deductions to special reserves - 1.129 million manats (41% less). The Baku branch did not pay income tax.

As of July 1 of this year, the assets of the Bank of Iran totaled 123.768 million manats (7.8% more than 1 year ago). Of them, 1.116 million manats were net loans given to customers. Over the past 1 year, the loan portfolio of the Baku branch has decreased 2.1-fold.

Over the reported term, Bank of Iran's liabilities increased by 1.9% up to 71.602 million manats, including the deposit portfolio by 1.5% up to 36.168 million manats, and the balance sheet capital by 17% up to 52.166 million manats.
