July 7, Fineko/abc.az. Sunflower crops reached 491 hectares in Bilasuvar this agricultural yeaI.

ABC.AZ informs that this is probably the highest rate in the last seven years.

Last year, sunflower seeds were planted on an area of 129.8 hectares in the region, and 2,834 quintals of the crop were harvested.

Also, for the 2025 harvest, grain was sown in the region on an area of 31,678 hectares, including 7,563 hectares accounted for wheat and 24,115 hectares for barley. To date, 23,820 tons of wheat have been harvested from wheat fields, with yield of 31.5 hundredweight per hectare.

72,345 tons of barley were harvested from barley fields with yield of 30 quintals per hectare.
