July 4, Fineko/abc.az.“The active and successful restoration of Azerbaijan’s liberated territories is a source of pride for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as well. In just five years, the brotherly nation’s liberated territories have transformed into a hub of development, thanks to the collective efforts of the Azerbaijani people under the leadership of my brother, President Ilham Aliyev,” said President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Ersin Tatar in his speech at the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) held in Khankendi.

The TRNC leader expressed his heartfelt gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and the ECO Secretariat for the invitation to the summit in Khankendi.

“The hosting of such a prestigious summit in the historic and ancient Azerbaijani city of Khankendi brings us particular satisfaction. Karabakh is Azerbaijan!” emphasized President Tatar, representing the TRNC, which has held observer status in the ECO since 2012.
