July 4, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are slightly decining in Friday’s trading after a moderate drop in the previous session.
The price of Brent crude oil futures for September on the ICE Futures exchange decreased by $0.15 (0.22%) to $68.65 per barrel by 09:35. Following the trading on July 3, September’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.31 (0.45%) to $68.80 per barrel.
The price of August’s WTI crude oil futures at the NYMEX commodity exchange declined by $0.05 (0.07%) to $66.95 per barrel by 09:35. Following the trading on July 3, WTI oil futures for August dropped in price by $0.45 (0.67%) to $67.00 per barrel.
Trading volumes on global markets on Friday are expected to be lower than usual, as the US stock exchanges are closed because of the celebration of Independence Day.
This week, Brent crude has already risen in price by 2.77%, WTI oil – by 2.18%.
