July 3, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan has held another deposit auction today.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the MoF that today the Ministry conducted a regular deposit auction to place funds from a single treasury account in national currency on deposits with local banks in order to more effectively manage state budget funds.

As a result of the auction, the free balance on the single treasury account in the amount of 500 million manats was placed in three of the five largest banks in the country in terms of capitalization and assets on deposit for a period of 29 days with weighted average interest rate of 7.25%.
