July 2, Fineko/abc.az. The assets of the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF, or DSMF) increased slightly in 2024 and reached 10.045 billion manats.

ABC.AZ informs that SSPF’s annual audit report notes that taking into account the fact that SSPF’s assets at the beginning of 2024 amounted to 7.909 billion manats, this means that overall assets increased by 2.136 billion manats over the past year, or by 27%.

The volume of non-current assets grew by 30% from 2.124 billion manats compared to last year up to 9.283 billion manats. 8.036 billion Manat assets are accounts receivable for obligations from the state budget.

The Fund has gained access to its investment opportunities by placing bonds and deposits since 2023. In 2023, the investment portfolio of 56 million manats increased up to 80 million manats by the beginning of 2024.

SSPF’s interest income grew from 20 million manats in 2023 up to 106 million manats in 2024.
