June 30, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2025, Azerbaijan’s tea imports reached 6,289 tons.

The cost of tea in this volume was $38.112 million, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.

The figure is 1,169 tons (22.8%) more in volume against the 2024 same term and $12.414 million (48.3%) more in value.
Tea import expenses made up 0.4% of Azerbaijan's overall import expenses.

In addition, Azerbaijan exported 288 tons of tea for $2.58 million in 5 months.
The indicator is 4 tons (1.3%) less in volume and $85,000 (3.1%) less in value versus Jan-May 2024.
Tea export earnings for Jan-May 2025 made up 0.02% of Azerbaijan's overall export revenues.
