ABC.AZ reports that President of the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan Zakir Nuriyev made this statement at the opening ceremony of the 1st International Credit Conference.

He added that if at the initial stage we were provided with information only about credit histories from the Credit Bureau, today the number of these services exceeds 35.

"If at the initial stage only banks and NBCOs were among the organizations cooperating with the Credit Bureau, now the number of cooperating organizations, in particular those voluntarily cooperating with the Bureau, has reached 270.

If earlier, according to the current legislation, organizations that trade goods in installments were required to provide information to the credit bureau, now it is voluntary," Nuriyev said.
