June 17, Fineko/abc.az. The nominal income per inhabitant of Azerbaijan for the past 5 months of 2025 amounted to 2,568.4 manats (6.4% more than in 2024).

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee that for Jan-May 2025, nominal incomes of the population reached 26.3 billion manats (6.9% more versus Jan-May 2024).

Since the inflation rate for the same period was 6.3%, the real income growth was also quite insignificant.

Household deposits in banks grew by 14.6% up to 15.1 billion manats. The average monthly salary was 1,083.8 manats (10% more than last year).

The population grew by 0.4% year-on-year, reaching 10.2 million people. The retail trade turnover totaled 18.4 billion manats and an increase of 3.7% was recorded.
