ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the new Bill on Gas Supply, discussed at today’s meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology.

According to the draft, in two cases - when carrying out maintenance and emergency work, on the initiative of the operator of the gas transmission system or the operator of the gas distribution system, and when conducting a special operation against religious extremism based on the instructions of the authority conducting a special operation against religious extremism in the area of this operation, as well as when preventing a fire or gas leak, the termination of gas supply to the consumer is carried out only on an individual basis. Termination of gas supply to a consumer who has not paid the gas price and fixed tariff on time should not result in violation of the rights of other consumers who have paid the gas price and fixed tariff on time.
