June 3, Fineko/abc.az. Hydrogen production in Azerbaijan is set to begin in 2035.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Minister of Energy Orkhan Zeynalov said about this during a panel discussion as part of the Baku Energy Forum.

The deputy minister highlighted that Azerbaijan has been making significant investments in its transition to green energy in recent years: "By 2030, more than 6 gigawatts of green energy capacity is expected to be commissioned, of which 4 gigawatts will be allocated for export. The export of green energy will be carried out via the Caspian–Black Sea–Europe corridor through a phased approach. In the next phase, starting in 2035, hydrogen production will be launched."
