June 3, Fineko/abc.az. Preliminary steps are being taken to install a pumping system at Pirallakhi field, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Ali Gurbanov, the director general of SOCAR production association Azneft.

He added that among the main tasks facing us are further improving security, strengthening risk management in operations, and expanding the use of new technologies.:

"Optimization of operating methods in accordance with our action strategy is one of the priorities. The goal is to ensure and increase the sustainability of production by optimizing the methods of operation. Important projects related to changes in well operation methods are being carried out. In 2024, a change in the method was performed at 46 wells, while the average daily efficiency increased by 15-20%. The inter-repair period of wells has been increased from 90 to 365 days. This led to the continuous operation of the mechanically driven well lasting up to 60 days per year."
