April 14, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2025, Azerbaijan extracted 12.6 bcm of natural gas.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Energy that 3.4 bcm of gas accounted for Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli, 6.8 bcm for Shah Deniz, 400 million cu m for Absheron field, and 2 bcm for SOCAR.

Gas sales abroad decreased by 6.25% to 6 bcm for the reported term. Of them, 3 bcm (a drop of 6.25%) were sold to Europe, 2.3 bcm (the same figure for last year) to Turkey, 700 million cu m (a drop of 22.22%) to Georgia. Including, 1.4 bcm of gas were transported via TANAP (a rise of 7.7%).

Since the commissioning of fields Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz, nearly 655.2 million tons of oil (together with condensate) and 476.8 bcm of gas have been produced until April 1, 2025. Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli produced 605.6 million tons of oil and 233.2 bcm of gas, while Shah Deniz extrcated close to 49.6 million tons of condensate and 243.6 bcm of gas. Of them, approx. 653.2 million tons of oil and 174.8 bcm of gas were exported.
