February 20, Fineko/abc.az. As of February 1, 2025, 87% of 1,604,938 registered taxpayers were individuals, 13% - legal entities and other organizations, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Tax Service.

Compared with January 2024, the total number of taxpayers grew by 5.4%, including the number of individuals by 5.1%, and legal entities by 7.6%.

As of February 1, 2025, the number of registered commercial organizations reached 191,643 (a rise of of 8.3% against the data as of February 1, 2024.

In January 2025, 1,307 commercial organizations passed state registration, including 90.1% with local investments and 9.9% with foreign investments.

Of the commercial organizations, 87.5% are registered in e-form. The share of e-registration of organizations with local investments was 97.5%.
