As a result of the reforms and "bleaching" measures, GDP growth continued due to the expansion of the non-oil sector, against the background of lower oil production compared with 2018 (from 38.8 million tons to 29.1 million tons), ABC.AZ reports, quoting Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov as saying this at today’s forum "Tax Service - 25: Sustainable Development & Effective Transformation".

He noted that compared with 2018, the share of the oil & gas sector in GDP in 2024 dropped from 40.2% to 30.6%.
