January 10, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has published data on premiums and compensation payments on voluntary loan insurance in Azerbaijan for Jan-Nov 2024.

ABC.AZ informs, with reference to the Central Bank, that for Jan-Nov 2024, the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to 4.799 million manats (1.397 million manats, or 41% more against Jan-Nov 2023 – 3.4 million manats).

Compensations on this type of insurance were paid for 69,000 manats were paid against only 3 manats of payments for Jan-Nov 2023 were made. Payments increased by 66,000 manats (22.6-fold).

The loss rate was 1% for the first 11 months of 2024.
