December 29, Fineko/abc.az. Amid the expiration of the transit contract between Gazprom and Ukraine's Naftogaz, European countries are looking for all possible alternatives, ABC.AZ informs, referring to Bloomberg.

In particular, Slovak energy company SPP is discussing with SOCAR an option in which Baku could purchase the necessary volumes of gas from Russia, and then supply them to European buyers using the old route through Ukraine.
