December 24, Fineko/abc.az. Compared with Jan-Nov 2023, the insurance premiums decreased in 4 out of 17 insurance companies in Azerbaijan and observed an increase on 13 for Jan-Nov 2024.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the largest increase in premiums was recorded on Meqa Həyat Sığorta (2.4-fold), and the lowest on Ipək Yolu Sığorta (-63%).

In accordance with Article 107.1.1 of the Law on Insurance Activity, on the basis of a voluntary appeal, License #000251 dated September 04, 2009 for the insurance activities of Bakı Sığorta OJSC was cancelled by CBA Board’s decisoon from December 10, 2024.
