November 20, Fineko/abc.az. BP, Chevron, Shell, Total Energy s, ExxonMobil and Eni include biofuels in their broader energy transition strategies.

ABC.AZ reports that Rystad writes about this. According to the consultants, six oil giants have announced a total of 43 biofuel projects that are either already in operation or planned to be launched by 2030.

According to the analysis, 31 projects represent completely new projects, six involve joint processing - integration of biological raw materials into existing refineries for the production of mixed raw materials, and another six represent the complete conversion of refineries into facilities designed exclusively for the production of biofuels.
