November 19, Fineko/abc.az. The American corporation Apple has offered Indonesia an investment of $100 million to lift the ban on the sale of smartphone iPhone 16 in the country.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to Bloomberg that the new investment amount is 10-fold higher than Apple's initial offer. The company plans to distribute investments to the Asian country within two years.
At the end of October, Bloomberg wrote that Indonesia had banned sales of iPhone 16 in the country. The reasons for this were the absence of at least 40% of the components produced in the country.
