November 18, Fineko/abc.az. It is predicted that in 2028, 5,203.5 kWh of electricity will be generated at wind and solar power plants in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the Draft Law on State Budget 2025. This is 7.3-fold more than the forecast figure for 2025.

According to the document, from 2025 to 2028, electricity production at wind and solar power plants will gradually increase.

So, in 2025, the noted indicator is projected at 715.1 GWh, in 2026 - 3,753.2 GWh, in 2027 - 4,555.4 GWh, and in 2028 - 5,203.5 GWh.
