ABC.AZ reports that the Compulsory Insurance Bureau made within the Green Card system the insurance payments outside the country in large amounts. The insurance payment in the amount of 79,680.56 manats (43,098.53 euros) was paid in connection with the incident that occurred in the German city of Dortmund due to the fault of the owner of a vehicle with a Kazakh state registration plate, which has an Azerbaijani "Green Card". Over Jan-Sept 2024, a total of 264 traffic accidents occurred in Russia, Turkey, Latvia, Poland, Belarus, Romania, Estonia, the Netherlands and Belgium due to the fault of the holders of Azerbaijani "green cards". A payment in the amount of 998,846 manats was made for these insured events.
