November 15, Fineko/abc.az. In the period from 2031 to 2037, Azerbaijan plans to receive additional 21 gigawatts of energy, including projects in the field of renewable energy sources, hydrogen, decarbonization, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Azerbaijani Deputy Energy Minister Orkhan Zeynalov, as saying this at the meeting of ministers on COP29 energy initiatives.

"Obviously, the national network will not be able to fully absorb such volumes, so it is necessary to develop a network of reliable regional connections. We hope that in the future the Central Asia-Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan-Turkey corridors will be connected," the deputy minister said.
