November 15, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan will sign three new agreements with Chinese companies in the field of renewable energy storage and energy efficiency systems tomorrow, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov as saying this at a press conference within COP 29.

The minister recalled that three agreements had already been signed in these areas:

""COP29 is remembered for many successes demonstrating Azerbaijan's determination in green energy transformation. These include laying the foundation of a solar power plant in Eastern Zangezur, important decisions taken at the meeting of energy ministers on the Green Energy Corridor, and an agreement between Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on development and export of green energy. It was also decided to include Saudi Arabia in this project. In addition, Azerbaijan announced its hydrogen strategy and signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the IAEA."
