November 15, Fineko/abc.az. The management of Siemens, despite the good performance, announced the reduction of up to 5,000 jobs worldwide.

ABC.AZ reports that this follows from the statement of the CEO of Siemens.

He added that this will mainly affect the production automation segment.

"Sometimes we have to make some changes because events have not turned out to be as positive as we expected," said Roland Busch, CEO of the concern.

Following operations for Q4 and entire financial year 2024 (ended September 30), published on company's website, the revenue of the German concern increased from 20.62 billion euros up to 20.81 billion euros, which is higher than expected forecasts. Following the entire financial year, net profit reached 9 billion euros, a record for a German manufacturer.
