October 15, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH) and China’s FiberHome Telecommunication Technologies Co., Ltd. have signed the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Economy that the signing ceremony was attended by Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov, holding’s CEO Ruslan Alikhanov and Chinese company’s CEO Hai Lan.

During the event, information was provided on the National Priorities of socio-economic development of Azerbaijan until 2030. It was emphasized that the country has established successful cooperation with leading global companies and is implementing significant projects in the field of smart technologies.
According to the Ministry, implementation of the signed document will strengthen cooperation within the smart infrastructures, innovative mechanisms and information technologies, will contribute to promotion of business partnership between Azerbaijan and China, as well as application of best business practices by portfolio companies of the Azerbaijani Investment Holding.
