July 10, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2024, Azerbaijan imported 3,218 tons of chicken meat from Russia for $6.17 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the indicator is $484,600 or 8.5% more in value and 700 tons or 17.9% less in quantitative terms against Jan-Apr 2023 (3,918 tons of chicken meat for $5.687 million).

The price per 1 kg of chicken imported from Russia in Azerbaijan reached 3.26 manats (for Jan-Apr 2023 - 2.47 manats; a rise of 79 cents or 32.1%).
