July 2, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 6 months of 2024, the number of foreigners and stateless persons who entered the territory of Azerbaijan totaled 1.23 million people, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Migration Service.

Over Jan-Jun 2024, foreigners who entered the country were citizens of Russia, Türkiye and 187 other countries.

Over the same period, the number of applications received by the State Migration Service in connection with obtaining a work permit reached 6,124.

In 6 months of 2024, our country’s Migration Service registered 95 (along with 154 family members) refugee status applications from foreigners.
