Loss-making on compulsory insurance of civil liability of motor vehicle owners grew by 17%

July 1, Fineko/abc.az. The loss rate on compulsory civil liability insurance of motor vehicle owners has decreased in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that for Jan-May 2024, the loss rate on this type of insurance made up 79%.

During this period, 65.316 million manats were collected on compulsory car insurance, 51.619 million manats were paid. The unprofitability of this type is 17% more than in the same period of 2023. Over Jan-May 2023, this figure was 62%.
