June 28, Fineko/abc.az. The data has been published in Azerbaijan on premiums and compensation payments on voluntary insurance.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that for Jan-May 2024 the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to 481.89 million manats (71.2 million manats, or 17% more against Jan-May 2023 – 410.67 million manats).

Compensation payments on this type of insurance amounted to 220.316 million manats (86.796 million manats or 65% more than a year earlier – 133.3 million manats).

The loss rate was 46% (a rise of 14% against 2013 - 32%).
