June 25, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 5 months 17 insurance companies in Azerbaijan collected premiums for 643.754 million mantas (13.65% more versus Jan-May 2023), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

Over Jan-May 2024, the amount of compensations paid by the country’s insurers totaled 274.837 million mantas (57.6% more against Jan-May 2023).

For Jan-May 2024, 42.7 manats were paid for every 100 manats of insurance premiums gathered at the insurance market (for Jan-May 2023 - 30.8 manats).
