June 21, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 267,600 tons of cement for $16.2 million to foreign countries for Jan-May 2024, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

The cement exports grew by $572,700 or 3.7% in value terms versus Jan-May 2023, and decreased by 14.4 tons or 5.1% in quantitative terms. And in the first 5 months of 2023, our country exported 282,000 tons of cement for $15.7 million.

The average export price of 1 ton of cement for 5 months of 2024 reached 103 manats (9 manats, or 9.2% more than a year ago).
