June 7, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2024, the share of non-oil/gas sector revenues in the State Budget of Azerbaijan increased by 51.8%, which is 1.5 p.p. more than forecast.

ABC.AZ reports that Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said about this at today's Milli Majlis plenary session.

"For 4 months, non-oil/gas budget revenues amounted to 6.867 billion manats, which is 6.8% more versus Jan-Apr 2023," he said.

Over Jan-Apr 2024, State Budget revenues amounted to 13.259 billion mantas and expenses - 10.75 billion mantas (9% and 20.4% more against Jan-Apr 2023, respectively). As a result, in 4 months the budget had surplus of 2.509 billion mantas (22.4% less than a year ago).
