April 30, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of premiums and payments on voluntary insurance in Azerbaijan has been published.

Over Jan-Mar 2024, the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to 278.312 million manats, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank.

The figure is 22.956 million manats, or 9% more against Jan-Mar 2023. In January 2023, this indicator reached 255.356 million manats.

Compensations on this type of insurance were paid for 124.136 million mantas (45.918 million manats or 59% more than a year earlier – 78.218 million manats). And the harmfulness index made up 45%. The loss rate grew by 14% for Jan-Mar 2024 against the 2023 same term figure of 31%.
