April 30, Fineko/abc.az. The introduction of special regulatory regime in Azerbaijan begins on May 1.

ABC.AZ reports that CBA general director Farid Osmanov stated about this during his speech at the presentation ceremony of the draft special regulatory regime.

He noted that the Central Bank, within the framework of the Financial Sector Development Strategy for 2024-26, aims to implement sustainable measures to digitize financial services provided in financial markets, as well as introduce new innovative financial products for the local market and thereby increase financial inclusion in our country.

The special regulatory regime, called the Sandbox, reflects a set of rules for testing innovative financial products in financial markets within a limited framework and under the control of the Central Bank.
