Price of this product from abroad grew more than by 4%

March 12, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Dec 2023, Azerbaijan imported 4,644 tons of dried grapes from foreign countries for $9.632 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that this is by $567,400 or 6.3% more in value terms and by 96 tons or 2.1% more in quantitative terms against Jan-Dec 2022.

From January to December 2022, 4,644 tons of dried grapes for $9.65 million were brought. The price for 1 ton of dried grapes this year was $2,074, and last year it was $1,993. Thus, the import price increased by $81 (4.1%) over the past year. This means that the import price for 1 kg of dried grapes for Jan-Dec 2023 amounted to 3.52 manats, and in the previous year - 3.38 manats.
