March 6, Fineko/abc.az. It is proposed to take permanent measures to improve citizens' access to medicines, as well as to reduce prices and improve the quality of medicines.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to Cabinet Ministers’ report for 2023.

The report notes that in order to reduce dependence on imports by meeting the demand for pharmaceutical products at the expense of local production, new manufacturing enterprises are being created, as well as legislative acts are being improved.

Government regulation of drug prices as an upper limit will allow importers and pharmacies to sell medicines at lower prices and compete with prices.
