January 24, Fineko/abc.az. Despite the fact that certain requirements are imposed on products exported to the Russian market, some entrepreneurs do not take this into account.

ABC.AZ reports that Nahid Asadov, deputy head of the department at the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA), said about this at an international event in Baku.

"There used to be problems on the border with Russia, but as a result of the work done by the government, they were eliminated as soon as possible. Exports are based on the requirements of a neighboring country. If products are stored on the opposite side, this has a negative impact on the activities of exporters. Product inspections are minimized in the absence of strict export requirements. For example, when delivered to trading houses located in the Persian Gulf countries, inspections of some products are minimized," he noted.
