January 22, Fineko/abc.az. During this year, it is planned to export Azerbaijani silk products to Türkiye, Iran and India.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Azəripək LLC, it is planned to export raw silk, raw fabric for the production of kelagai and products obtained in the production process (to India) to these countries.

In 2023, Azəripək LLC exported products for AZN 3.029 million ($1.78 million). This is 4.7% more than in 2022.

As for production, in 2023, 34.6 tons of raw silk, 10.9 tons of silk wool, 8,328 colorful kelagai of different sizes, 275,000 sq m of raw silk fabric, 1,439 shawls, 2,367 colorful scarves, 17,323 kelagai of different sizes, 3,180 scarves, 16 silk carpets, 3,577 kg of carpet threads were produced.

Also, in 2024, it is planned to produce goods produced in previous years, as well as raw fabrics made of cotton yarn and artificial, synthetic yarns.
