September 1, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, 38.9% of internet usage in Azerbaijan was dedicated to entertainment and digital content consumption, according to the State Statistics Committee. This represents a 1 percentage point decrease compared to 2024.

Meanwhile, communication, civic participation, and collaboration accounted for 38.1% of internet use (down by 1.4 percentage points), while e-commerce and transactions made up 7.7% (down by 0.8 percentage points). Information retrieval reached 4.9% (up by 0.4 percentage points), and artificial intelligence usage rose to 4.6% (up by 3.4 percentage points).

Additionally, digital content creation accounted for 2.4% (down by less than 1 percentage point), professional activities stood at 1.8% (up by more than 0.2 percentage points), and learning and education comprised 1.6% (up by more than 0.2 percentage points).
