January 12, Fineko/abc.az. The new appointment took place in the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture.

ABC.AZ reports that Riad Gasimov has been appointed head of the Baku City Main Department of Architecture & Urban Planning. He has been the interim head of this department since January 2023.

He is also an advisor to the chairman of the State Committee. However, before the specified date, Gasimov worked in the State Securities Committee as head of the Legal Department, head of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Economic Development, deputy chairman of Azerbaijan Investment Company, general manager of the Kuwait-Azerbaijan Investment Company, head of the Administration of the State Historical and Architectural Reserve "Icherisheher".

The Main Department of Architecture & Urban Planning of Baku has been operating since 1969.
