January 8, Fineko/abc.az. Finances in the amount of AZN 93.6 bn are needed for development of Baku in 2020-40.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the Baku City Master Plan until 2040.

Under the Plan, these funds will be used to implement activities in 5 directions.

AZN 47.6 bn are required for development of urban areas, AZN 16.9 bn for transport infrastructure, AZN 15.32 bn for engineering and communication systems, AZN 4.3 bn for renewable energy sources and AZN 9.5 bn for environmental protection measures.

Of these finances, AZN 60.5 bn will be covered by public investments and AZN 33.6 bn by private investments.
