December 25, Fineko/abc.az. "Large and well-known companies operating in Azerbaijan are interested in mass offering of their shares. I cannot disclose their names from angle of protecting confidentiality, but I can say we’ve already received requests regarding a public offer of shares.

ABC.AZ reports quoting Farid Akhundov, the chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Baku Stock Exchange.

"I should also note that not every company can enter this market, because the stock market requires transparency. Companies that have succeeded in this market have vision of the future and can succeed. Being public is a great product. At that, companies that want to enter the capital markets want to prove their reliability," Akhundov said.
